What it does
- Answers calls, texts, WhatsApp and email with your studio name
- Asks what the client wants, where on the body and how big
- Quotes a ballpark range from your own calculator and says the final price is set at the consultation
- Books the consultation on your calendar if you allow it, and texts you a summary
- Switches to Spanish or Portuguese when the client does
Why it matters
Most tattoo inquiries come in the evening and at night, when you are tattooing or off. A client who asks "how much for a small wrist piece?" and waits a day often books with whoever answered first. The receptionist gives them a range and a consultation slot while they are still excited. Read how much to charge for a tattoo to set the prices it quotes.
What it will not do
It does not design tattoos, approve placement, give medical advice or promise a final price. It hands those to you at the consultation.
